Philip Pavia (March 16,1911 in Bridgeport, Connecticut – April 13, 2005 in New York City, New York was an internationally exhibited American painter and sculptor most closely associated with the abstract expressionist movement.
Pavia began his art studies at Yale but then transferred to the Arts Student League.in 1948 Pavia founded "The Club", an organization dedicated to engaging in a discourse on Modern art.
